Acrylic Fabrication and Machining

    Home Acrylic Fabrication and Machining

    Acrylic Fabrication and Machining.

Renowned for its complete transparency, flexibility, and exceptional resistance to breakage, Acrylic plastic sheet is an outstanding material that serves as a superior alternative to glass for windows, doors, partitions, and skylights.

The lightweight nature of Acrylic plastics, weighing only half as much as glass, makes it highly convenient for various applications. Furthermore, its resilience to environmental factors ensures long-lasting performance, virtually unaffected by nature’s elements.

One of the key advantages of Acrylic plastic is its ability to be thermoformed or molded economically, allowing the creation of shapes perfectly tailored for a diverse range of applications. From sleek designs to intricate forms, Acrylic plastic effortlessly adapts to fulfill your unique requirements. In many cases Acrylic can outperform more widely used “commodity” plastics (polystyrene, polypropylene, PVC, etc.).

At HP Manufacturing, we offer Acrylic sheet in both general-purpose grades and a wide range of special grades meticulously formulated to meet specific physical requirements. Whether you require transparency, translucency, opacity, or colorless transparency, our Acrylic sheet is available in a multitude of options. Additionally, we provide a variety of surface patterns to suit your preferences.

Acrylic is ideal for a range of applications, from corneal transplants in cataract surgery to aquariums to windows in airplanes, skyscrapers, and even submarines.

Acrylic is typically extruded, cast, or continuous casted during the manufacturing process. It can be machined during fabrication using standard CNC machines or through manual operations in order to perform cutting, turning, routing, milling, drilling, and grinding. Complex shapes are often handled via laser cutting.
