Polycarbonate Fabrication and Machining

    Home Polycarbonate Fabrication and Machining

    Polycarbonate Fabrication and Machining.

Discover the exceptional engineering thermoplastic that redefines the standards of clarity and toughness—Lexan Polycarbonate, available at HP Manufacturing. Lexan Polycarbonate offers a remarkable balance between clarity and toughness, while exhibiting an extensive range of high-heat deflection temperatures. Renowned for its outstanding toughness, this durable material is unmatched for even the most demanding applications.

Polycarbonate boasts a wide variety of desirable characteristics beyond its toughness. It showcases excellent electrical properties, dimensional stability, and inherent ignition resistance, ensuring reliable performance in a wide array of applications.

With its close tolerance machinability and remarkable transparency, Lexan Polycarbonate is a perfect fit for applications that demand high-performance characteristics. This exceptional combination of physical properties makes it an invaluable material for the automotive, industrial/business machine, and appliance markets.

At HP Manufacturing, we offer both general-purpose and FDA-grade Polycarbonate. Our general-purpose Polycarbonate is further enhanced with thermal stabilizers, U.V. stabilizers, mold release agents, glass fibers, and ignition-resistant additives. These enhancements expand the material’s capabilities, making it even more versatile and resilient.

Fabrication techniques such as milling, forming, or cutting can be seamlessly performed using standard equipment and tools, thanks to the machinability of Polycarbonate.
